Buyer Terms

1. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• give accurate delivery and contact details;
• pay for orders you place, and only buy items you genuinely intend to purchase;
• inspect deliveries and confirm receipt, or raise a dispute promptly if something is wrong; and
• treat sellers and other users fairly and lawfully.

2. Payments and escrow

When you pay, your money is held securely in escrow and released to the seller only after delivery is confirmed, or after the confirmation window passes without a dispute. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices and any delivery charges are shown in full before you pay, with no hidden fees.

3. Refunds and disputes

You may raise a dispute and request a refund if, for example:

• your order does not arrive;
• the goods are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality; or
• the wrong or a short quantity is delivered.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights apply, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, for many distance purchases, a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Because the seller is the supplier of the goods, some of these rights are owed to you by the seller; our escrow and dispute process helps you exercise them. Where a dispute is decided in your favour, we refund from the escrowed funds.

4. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• use the platform for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful aim;
• abuse the refund or dispute process or make dishonest claims;
• post fake or misleading reviews, or manipulate ratings; or
• harass sellers or other users.

5. Liability

CAPIOV Ltd provides the platform and escrow, but is not the seller of the goods. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the quality or legality of goods supplied by sellers, or for a seller's acts; nothing here affects your non-excludable rights as a consumer or our liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the amount of the affected order.

6. Changes

We may update these Buyer Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
